Meet Elizabeth Irvin
Beginner Private Voice | Audition Prep | Storytelling through Song
Elizabeth Jane Irvin is a proud Kentucky native, career mom, singer, actress, and speaker. She now calls the rolling hills just outside Nashville, Tennessee home, where she lives with her children, Olivia and Bo, and their two energetic pups.
Elizabeth’s love for the arts runs deep. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and Theatre from Northern Kentucky University in 2005 and has since dedicated her talents both to performing and to teaching. Over the years, she has instructed students ranging from preschoolers to collegiate, led theatre camps, seminars, pageant training, audition preparation, and public speaking workshops. She has inspired countless individuals to use their gifts not only for the stage but to build life skills that serve them every day.
As a performer, Elizabeth’s work has been celebrated—most notably, she was awarded Best Regional Actress in a Musical by BroadwayWorld.com in 2016. Two of her most cherished roles include portraying Belle in Beauty and the Beast and embodying the magical Mary Poppins. After relocating to Tennessee, Elizabeth recently returned to the stage as Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music, marking a joyful reentry into theatrical performance.
Her creativity extends beyond acting and singing. Elizabeth is also an accomplished costume design/ curation, hair and special effects makeup—bringing characters to life not only through performance but through their visual storytelling.
When she’s not performing or teaching, you can find Elizabeth spending every precious free moment with her children, creating memories, and embracing life’s beautiful, unscripted moments.
Elizabeth is currently accepting students of all ages, with availability on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
Meet Bethany Harrison
Private Voice | Musical Theatre | Audition Prep
Bethany Harrison is the co-founder and co-owner of Stage Local Lebanon. A classically trained soprano, Bethany has studied voice for over 18 years, with a performance background spanning musical theatre and classical repertoire.
Following a life-threatening childbirth experience, Bethany's return to singing brought a renewed appreciation for the resilience of the human voice and the importance of building strength, stamina, and confidence as a performer. This experience continues to inform her approach to teaching, emphasizing healthy vocal habits, physical awareness, and sustainable performance practices.
With a particular passion for musical theatre, Bethany specializes in audition preparation, storytelling through song, character interpretation, and performance development. Her teaching approach combines foundational vocal technique with an emphasis on authentic expression, helping students connect more deeply with their material while developing the confidence to make bold, intentional artistic choices.
Bethany believes that effective vocal performance extends beyond singing the correct notes. Her goal is to equip students with the technical tools, artistic instincts, and confidence to communicate a story through song.
Favorite performance credits include Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore, and Emily Webb in Our Town.
Bethany currently accepts teen and adult students, with limited availability for new students.
Stage Local Private Voice Lesson Policies
At Stage Local, we are committed to providing high-quality, individualized vocal instruction in a supportive and professional environment. To ensure consistency across our private voice program and respect the time of our students and instructors, the following policies apply to all private voice lessons, regardless of instructor.
Lesson Scheduling & Payment
Private voice lessons are $75 per session.
All private voice lessons are scheduled exclusively through Stage Local administration. Families must contact Stage Local directly to request an appointment. All appointments are managed through our Studio Pro scheduling system.
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Families will be directed to complete payment through their Studio Pro Parent Portal unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved by Stage Local administration.
Appointments are not considered confirmed until payment has been received. Unpaid appointment requests may be released to other students.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances and scheduling conflicts arise. However, each private lesson reserves dedicated instructional time with one of our instructors.
More Than 24 Hours' Notice
Students may cancel or request to reschedule their appointment without penalty when more than 24 hours' notice is provided.
Each paid lesson is eligible for one (1) reschedule, subject to instructor availability.
Payment will transfer to the rescheduled appointment.
Once an appointment has been rescheduled, the new appointment is considered final and cannot be rescheduled again.
If a family cancels rather than reschedules, the prepaid lesson fee will be issued as an account credit toward a future private voice lesson.
Account credits are nonrefundable and cannot be applied toward other Stage Local programs or tuition.
24 Hours or Less Before the Lesson
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in forfeiture of the full $75 lesson fee.
No refunds or credits will be issued.
No makeup lessons will be provided.
The lesson fee cannot be transferred to another appointment.
Missed Appointments & No-Shows
Students who fail to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will forfeit the full lesson fee. No refunds, credits, or makeup lessons will be provided.
Scheduling Changes & Communication
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted directly to Stage Local administration.
Individual instructors are not authorized to independently reschedule appointments, approve makeup lessons, waive cancellation fees, or make exceptions to this policy.
Families should not consider a schedule change confirmed until they have received confirmation from Stage Local administration.
Instructor Cancellations
In the event that a Stage Local instructor must cancel a scheduled lesson for any reason, the student will be offered a rescheduled appointment at no additional charge.
If a mutually agreeable rescheduled appointment cannot be arranged, the family will receive a refund or account credit for the affected lesson.
Instructor-initiated cancellations do not count toward the student's one permitted reschedule.
Policy Acknowledgment
By scheduling and paying for a private voice lesson with Stage Local, families acknowledge and agree to the booking, payment, cancellation, and rescheduling policies outlined above.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a consistent, professional, and positive learning environment for all students and instructors.
